The nearest major airport is Melbourne Airport (Tullamarine), approximately 160 km (about 2 hours) from Phillip Island. From the airport, visitors can rent a car, book a shuttle service, or use rideshare options for a direct transfer to the island. There is no direct train to Phillip Island. However, V/Line operates services from Southern Cross Station (Melbourne) to Dandenong Station, where passengers can transfer to a V/Line coach service that travels to Cowes, the island’s main town.
