Beth Fulton

Dr Beth Fulton is a Chief Research Scientist at CSIRO Environment, helping lead the Integrated Ocean Stewardship Research Domain. For over 30 years, she has developed pioneering whole-of-system models like Atlantis to balance marine ecosystems, fisheries, aquaculture, and climate impacts. Her tools inform decisions for Australian and international agencies, from regional planning to UN bodies. An Adjunct Professor at the University of Tasmania’s Centre for Marine Socioecology, she advances the blue economy. A Fellow of both the Australian Academy of Science and the Academy of Technological Sciences & Engineering, her work drives ocean sustainability.
